“In 1986 owner, Bob Irwin found himself alongside three other employees of what was then The Survival Store East – a steadily running shooting range and retail store. From the start, Bob was aware of the considerable possibilities that came with such a unique business. In 1988, he took over the company and it became known as The Gun Store.
The “World Famous” Gun Store has been Las Vegas’ premier indoor shooting range for over 25 years, catering to locals and tourists from all over the globe! We offer a clean environment, featuring LEAD-FREE and frangible ammunition for our customers’ health and safety. With our range expansion project completed, we now offer twice as many air-conditioned lanes to shoot in (30), featuring 2 new large VIP Ranges with 6 lanes in each.
We have more than 50 types of guns to choose from, including full automatic machine guns, semi-automatic rifles, handguns and shotguns for your shooting pleasures. Guests can also choose from a wide variety of targets to take aim at, everything from your standard bull’s-eye and silhouette, on up to our very popular zombies, terrorists and hostage scenarios. Range Safety Instructors are provided for all our shooters.
In addition to being a shooting range, The Gun Store is a full service firearms, accessories and ammunition retailer that also offers a variety of classes including, FREE Concealed Firearms Permit and Renewal, FREE Firearm Safety and FREE Children’s Gun Safety classes.
