The Riva Yares Gallery, founded in 1964 the primary art space in the country for the exhibition of museum-level modern and contemporary art. The Riva Yares Gallery has been profiled in virtually every major art publication including Art in America, ArtNews, Art a Auction, as well as Architectural Digest.The gallery publishes select catalogues and books that document the scope of solo-exhibitions, and which are inclusive of critical essays, expansive color reproductions, and concise biographies. Recent books include: Milton Avery: All Creatures Great and Small (48 pages with 32 color plates), Esteban Vicente: A Retrospective View: 1951-2000 (72 pages with 48 color illustrations) and Morris Louis: The French a Co. Show of 1960 (48 pages with 28 color illustrations).
The Riva Yares Gallery has been a member of the ADAA (Art Dealers Association of America) for the past ten years, Founder and Director Riva Yares sits on the board of many arts-related entities and is active within the full continuum of cultural affairs. Having now entered into its fifth decade, The Riva Yares Gallery is committed in continuing to present the highest level of modern and cotemporary art in the country.
