The museum is the former home and office of Dr. and Mrs. Irving Moffett. There are two floors of artifacts and books open to the public for viewing and research on a regular basis. The basement, which housed the doctor's office, is open only by appointment.

Among the artifacts are extensive military memorabilia (uniforms from WWI to Desert Storm), photo albums, a full set of Brown Company Bulletins, largest collection of souvenir china in Coos County, town histories for surrounding towns and research assistance.
