A summer festival has been a North Baltimore tradition for over 30 years. The festival originally started in 1980 as the Good Ole Summertime Day Festival and was touted as the largest one day festival in Ohio. The name stayed the same for approximately 20 years. Over the years changes were made including the name and location. The festivities moved to the village park for a few years and thus "Picnic in the Park" emerged.. After then returning the festival to Main St the festival became North Baltimore SummerFest. Then with wanting to "return to our roots", committee members decided to bring back "The Good Ole Summertime Festival". What never changes is the day:
