Flock to the Zoo on May 10th to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. We honor this day annually by encouraging visitors to get outdoors on our wooded trails to listen and look for birds migrating through the zoo. We will have signs with QR codes posted for visitors to scan, designed to sharpen your bird ID skills. We encourage all visitors to read the zoo bird interpretive signs for extra bird facts. We even have a new web page with a downloadable bird collisions brochure we made with our partner US Fish and Wildlife Service Migratory Birds. This page has many tips on how you can keep your home and workplace safe and collision-free for our feathered friends.
