Willa Bassen has, in the course of her multi-faceted career in the arts, worked professionally as a vocalist, musician, composer, songwriter, and producer. She has worked with such luminaries as Keith Richards (of the Rolling Stones) and jazz greats Harry Connick, Jr., Herbie Mann and Marian McPartland. Along with her many original compositions, Willa has written the title song for the original movie “Hairspray” as well as music and songs for the Olympics, ABC-TV sports and the AMC-TV show “Mad Men”.
She has scored a number of independent films and produced the soundtrack for the award-winning film “Spanking The Monkey”. Her children’s musical, “Perfect!” premiered in New York City in 2017. She has spent a lifetime playing and singing solo and with bands and society orchestras, performing standards and pop classics from Ella Fitzgerald to Norah Jones to Dua Lipa. Warren Odze has been involved in the business of making music for the past 50 years. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he has recorded and performed with such artists as Judy Collins, Peter Allen, Barbara Cook, Hank Jones, Johnny Hartman, Audra MacDonald, Kenny Rankin, Phoebe Snow, Art Garfunkel, Blood Sweat and Tears and Rod Stewart. He was the drummer for the 1986 season of "The Dick Cavett Show", and has played for the Tony Awards Show, Memorial Day and Capital Fourth with the National Symphony on PBS, the New York Pops, the New York Philharmonic and for the Broadway productions of “The Wedding Singer, “An American In Paris”, “Rocky”, “King Kong”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” “Lennon”, "Seussical" , and "Thoroughly Modern Millie”, among many others.
Steve Gelfand is an accomplished bass player as well as an arranger, producer, and songwriter who has both recorded and performed live for over 40 years. Some of his recording credits include Hall & Oates’ “She's Gone”, the film "Peggie Sue Got Married", the theme song for tv’s “Cheers”, and the Disney tv series “The Little Mermaid”. Steve has also toured and/or recorded with Brook Benton, Lou Christie, Little Anthony, Janis Ian, Richie Havens, Ten Wheel Drive, Mary Travers, Peter Yarrow, and The Mamas & The Papas. Among Steve's credits on- and off-Broadway are Billy Elliot, Shrek, Little Shop of Horrors, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Les Misérables, Rent, Starlite Express, Grease and Radio City's Christmas, Easter and Summer shows. Steve was also the bass player on the original Broadway production of “Tommy”.
