MARIA RICCIO BRYCE composed her REQUIEM in 2022. It premiered triumphantly at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Schenectady in November of that year, and, since then, it has developed a real following, being sung at various churches throughout the Capital District.

The upcoming performance on Sunday, March 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish on Delaware Avenue in Albany, will be performed by SIENA COLLEGE CHOIRS and the CLARE ENSEMBLE, joined by other professional and community singers.

Together, they form a unique chorus of magnificent voices, accompanied by some of the finest musicians in the Capital District, and conducted by DR. TIMOTHY RENO, Associate Dean of Liberal Arts at Siena.

Riccio Bryce's REQUIEM celebrates the mystery, honors the faith, and, with evocative music and lyrics, gives singular voice to our mortality, and to the eternity beyond. It is both a hymn to the living, and a sublime farewell to those we loved so well, who have left us.

You will hear the cadences of faith, hope, and invincible love rise, and fall, and rise again, as they resound throughout that beautiful church on Delaware Avenue, on the first Sunday afternoon in Spring.

Don't miss your chance to experience this unforgettable musical journey that will touch your soul.

There is no charge for this performance, but Freewill offerings are gratefully accepted.
