Arson Fahim is a pianist, composer, and conductor from Afghanistan. A fierce believer in the power of music to be a tool for activism and social change, and a symbol of resistance, perseverance, and hope, Arson’s music is often inspired by the tragedies and injustices of war. Join us for a concert of chamber music for piano and strings by Arson, including the premiere of a newly commissioned piano quartet. The concert will be performed by the composer and string players from the internationally recognized Cuatro Puntos Ensemble. (https://www.cuatropuntos.org/cuatro-puntos-ensemble)
The concert takes place at the First Congregational Church, 165 Main Street, in Amherst. Parking is available and free at the rear of the church. First Church is handicap accessible.
