A nationally known author, speaker and expert on grieving, hope and healing will be speaking in Richmond on April 9. The free public event, "Understanding Your Grief: Touchstones for Hope and Healing" from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the University of Richmond, is part of the 150th anniversary of Bliley's Funeral Home this year.

Dr. Alan Wolfelt is recognized as one of North America's foremost grief counselors, with extensive experience in supporting individuals through loss and bereavement. In 1984, he established the Center for Loss in Colorado, where he pioneered a compassionate approach to grief education and support for both mourners and caregivers. Anyone interested in supporting the journey of grief with compassion and resilience is encouraged to attend.

We look forward to having you join us for this evening of hope and healing. Participants will be able to quietly reflect on their losses and honor their own unique grief journey.
