Trashion "Barbies, Kens, and Friends" Gallery Exhibit and Online Auction at the Center

Saved from the landfills where the plastic dolls will often take twenty to possibly 500 years to decompose, we offer a Gallery Exhibit and Silent Auction to showcase Barbie and dolls that are repurposed into new works of recycled art.

The 2025 Gallery Opening will take place on April 3 from 5- 7:30 PM when the Center is the host venue for Sonoma Art Walk. Light refreshments will be served.

Returning this year is the online silent auction for anyone to view from anywhere! Once the auction is live, a link can be found here, via QR codes in the gallery, or at SonomaCommunityCenter.org. You have the chance to win a custom upcycled barbie that supports arts programming at the Sonoma Community Center during the online auction. Specific bidding instructions will be forthcoming at the end of March for the online auction.

The online auction will open at 5:00 pm on April 3rd and close at 2:00 pm on April 26th.

Open to all ages.
