The Houston Tidelanders are a premier a cappella chorus rooted in the heart of Houston, Texas, with a rich legacy spanning over 75 years. We’re known for our vibrant barbershop style - featuring tight harmonies, resonant chords, and shimmering overtones that bring every performance to life.

Under the skilled direction of Patrick MacAlexander, a seasoned barbershop veteran with over two decades of experience in singing, arranging, and directing, the Tidelanders deliver high-energy performances that engage and entertain audiences of all ages.

Our repertoire extends well beyond traditional barbershop. We showcase a diverse mix of Broadway hits, classic rock & roll, patriotic favorites, spiritual selections, contemporary pop, original compositions, and beloved barbershop standards - all performed in our signature harmony-rich style.
