The Symphony of Westchester, a member of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, invites audiences to an All Baroque Program on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium in the Murphy Science and Technology Building at Iona University in New Rochelle. Barry Charles Hoffman conducts a program of Baroque favorites that includes J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major (BWV 1048), Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major (BWV 1050), and Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, featuring violin soloist Alexander Abayev.
New this season is a kid friendly “musical petting zoo” at intermission. The Symphony’s harpist will invite children to come up, see the harp up close and try a few gentle plucks, giving young listeners a relaxed and hands on way to experience orchestral music.
The hall is located at 715 North Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10801, in the Murphy Science and Technology Building on Summit and North Avenues across from Iona University’s main campus. Tickets are $55 for general admission, $40 for seniors 65 and older, and $15 for students with valid ID. Snow date is Saturday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m. For tickets and information, call 914-654-4926 or visit thesymphonyofwestchester.org/tickets.html.
