The Modernistics Trio: Celebrating George and Ira Gershwin

Called “absolutely joyous, virtuosic and wonderful!”, The Modernistics Trio will celebrate George and Ira Gershwin with swinging songs, tap-dance numbers, and exuberant instrumentals. Among the many audience favorites are Fascinating Rhythm, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Slap That Bass, I Got Rhythm, Love is Here to Stay, Stairway to Paradise, and other great music by the Gershwins.

Performing will be Ted Powers, vocals, tap, guitar, banjo, and harmonica; Peter H Bloom, flute; Dave Zox, double bass.
