The Carlos Odria Trio is a high-energy fusion band that performs original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards and Latin American popular music. Peruvian-born guitarist Carlos Odria has been described as a “breathtakingly talented musician… with immense technical skill.” He and his band deliver an exciting blend of international styles such as bossa nova, Afro-Peruvian festejo, rumba flamenca and Afro-Caribbean vibes, imbued with an improvisational approach inspired by the rich tradition of American jazz. Joining Mr. Odria in a return to Falmouth will be Julian Wagner on bass and Thomas Spears on the drum set.
