On Sunday, September 21 from 11 AM - 4 PM, the Annual Thai Street Food Festival of Michigan will take place at Wat Paknam Michigan (8500 Plumbrook Rd, Sterling Heights). This free, family-friendly event brings the community together to enjoy authentic Thai food, cultural performances showcasing traditional Thai dances, and a welcoming celebration of diversity.
This year, the festival is also seeking sponsorship support to help offset recent federal funding cuts to social and cultural programs in Michigan. Covering this event would not only spotlight a vibrant cultural gathering, but also raise awareness of the importance of preserving and supporting diverse traditions in our state.
A small $3 parking fee supports ground maintenance.
