Sunset Concerts - The Hoodoo Loungers

About the Sunset Concert Series:

The series takes place every Wednesday in July and August beginning at 6:30 PM in the Harborfront Park by the Village Center, just east of Danford’s and the Ferry. The “rain or shine” concerts will take place outside if the weather is nice, if not it will take place inside the Port Jefferson Village Center.

In 2009, the Arts Council started presenting free concerts in Harborfront Park, featuring talented musicians who perform much of their own music. The mix is eclectic, ranging from blues to country, bluegrass to folk, rockabilly to jazz, young rock bands to classical fusion, world music and much more.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and their own blankets or lawn chairs. This is a terrific way to connect with neighbors and make new friends, all while enjoying delightful music and spectacular sunsets over Port Jefferson Harbor. There are some terrific food establishments in the area – pick up something to go, and come on down to the Park!

Harborfront Park is handicapped-accessible and leashed-dog-friendly.

All concerts are free, and all-ages welcome.
