The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville will present Spanish Dances, a vibrant and expressive concert featuring works inspired by Spanish and Latin American musical traditions. This free program highlights fiery rhythms, lush melodies, and captivating dance forms from across the Spanish-speaking world.

The program includes Oblivion and Primavera Portena by Argentine tango master Astor Piazzolla, Danzon No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Marquez, Manuel de Falla's spirited Dances from The Three-Cornered Hat Suite No. 2, and the hypnotic crescendo of Maurice Ravel's beloved Bolero.

 

Saturday, May 3 at 4 p.m. at North Florida School of Special Education

 

Saturday's performance will be a sensory-sensitive concert, designed to create a welcoming environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families.
