Shawsheen Village East Historic Walking Tour

On the East side of Route 28 you will learn about the American Woolen Company's many buildings, and highlights of William Wood's planned community, "Shawsheen" - the Balmoral Spa, playing fields, dance hall, garage, restaurant and the white clapboard homes made for middle managers at the company.
