The Santa Cruz Elks Lodge invites the community to its first annual Fall Fest, a family-friendly celebration of food, games and seasonal cheer, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 2-7 p.m. at the lodge’s location at 150 Jewell St., Santa Cruz.

Enjoy a cozy meal with soup, garlic bread, and brats, plus cider. Activities include Candy Corn Bowling, Ring Toss, the Egg-Spoon Race, a beer garden, craft fair, and chili and apple pie cooking contests.

Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 & under. Proceeds benefit the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, which provides free therapy for children with disabilities.

About the Elks Founded on February 16, 1868, the Elks are a charitable organization dedicated to helping veterans, giving scholarships and all around bettering local communities. It is also the largest private provider of college scholarships in the United States.
