Performance - The Peppermint Bear Show

Lakewood Theatre Company is once again excited to present their long-running annual holiday Santa breakfast production of The Peppermint Bear Show.

This year's version, Peppermint Bear and The Two Headed Dragon is directed and choreographed by Laura Loy. The book and lyrics are by Michael Snider with music and music direction by Kurt Misar.

The Peppermint Bear Show is a classic at Lakewood Theatre Company and it's perfect for families and full of holiday cheer. Each year a new 45-minute episode is presented. A light continental breakfast with rolls, juice, and coffee is provided. It's a show that is perfect for ages 3-103. Doors open 20 minutes before each show.

The Story: The elves rush about, trying to keep to a frantic schedule and see all is ready for Christmas, but are interrupted and become hopelessly distracted trying to win a contest to be chosen the North Pole's "Best Elf"  – a challenge set by Jo-Joe, a very, very hungry two-headed dragon. As the elves vie for the coveted win and the dragon hungrily tries to select the tastiest elf among them, Santa and Peppermint Bear must stumble upon the dragon's dinner-time plot, save the day and see that all remain safe, sated and happy.
