8-10:30pm: Winter Carnival Gala
Location: Whipple Hall, 25 Seamans Road, New London
Don your fanciest attire and come join the 18-pc Tall Granite Big Band as we cap off the New London Winter Carnival with a *GALA* dance in Whipple Hall!! Doors will open at 6:30 and at 7 attendees may participate in a complimentary group Swing lesson to review some basic steps, led by instructors Robin Barnes and Paul Langley. Then the room heats up when Godfather Joey Placenti counts the big band off at 8, and the festivities will continue until 10:30!! Our vocalist will be the remarkable Emilia Halstead. Complimentary light refreshments will be available.
