Myths of the Mountains Series is our most unique offering of the year. It is a lamplight guided tour of Fort New Salem in the evening. Our guests visit select multiple cabins led by period dressed guides with the cabins housing a story teller who spins tales of Appalachia. The tour is around 1 hour with the gates open at 8 PM. Groups begin the tour every 10 minutes with the last one launched at 9:30 PM. A complimentary drink of apple cider is provided at the tours end.
