Wrightwood, CA—Nestled high in the San Gabriel Mountains, off Highway 2, the 61st annual Mountaineer Days celebration over the July 12 weekend in 2025 promises a unique experience. Our old-fashioned family festivities kick off on Saturday, July 12, with an opening ceremony at 10:30 AM and a live show featuring Western Gunfighters and CanCan Girls.
On Sunday, July 13, Mountaineer Days will showcase its patriot parade. This year’s parade theme is “Home of the Yeti.” Starting at 1:00 PM, our parade will be packed with joyful entries, including children’s decorated bikes, marching clubs, vintage cars, and majestic horses, all decked out.
Two beloved community members, the Wrightwoodian of the Year and the Honorary Mayor, will be announced during the opening ceremony, reinforcing the strong community spirit that Mountaineer Days celebrates.
Wrightwood’s Mountaineer Days will be a fun-filled event for all ages. From a Beer Garden and adult Casino games to a live band and a Kid’s Fun Zone with pony rides, a petting zoo, reptiles, a mechanical Bull, panning for gold, a dunk tank, axe throwing for kids, and more kids’ games, there’s something for everyone. We’ll also have family games and contests to entertain the whole family.
Our shops, restaurants, vendors, and food trucks will be open throughout the Village for browsing and dining.
Don’t miss out on the fun! Start planning to attend the 61st annual Mountaineer Days celebration over the July 12 weekend in 2025. With so much to see and do, you’ll want to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
