Shop local businesses, artists, and vendors selling unique arts and goods at Wistariahurst’s Mother’s Day Market.

Soak up the sun and shop for gifts and goodies for mom- or yourself! Wistariahurst Museum welcomes spring with our second annual Mother’s Day Market being held Saturday, May 3rd, 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Our Mother’s Day Market features local vendors selling a variety of products such as art, jewelry, food, and other amazing items. Vendors will be stationed outdoors in Wistariahurst’s gardens, weather permitting. If the April showers trickle into May, then vendors will be located indoors throughout the first floor of the museum. Guests are welcome inside the Carriage house as well, where they can shop our gift shop, take photos in the carriage, and view the frog circus. The fun doesn’t stop there! Wander around the first floor of the museum for special Mother’s Day activities and games!

Wistariahurst’s gardeners will also be hosting the first On-Site Plant Sale of the year during the market this year from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Pre-ordering for plants by Wednesday, April 30th, is required to pick up your plants during the market. Otherwise, visitors are welcome to order plants during the market to be picked up at a later date. Proceeds from purchases made from our plant sale or gift shop purchases go towards funding for future programs that you will see at Wistariahurst Museum, so you can support your local museum while buying a sweet gift for your special someone.

Wistariahurst Museum’s 2nd annual Mother’s Day Market offers something for everyone. From textile pieces and prints, to candles and crystals- you’re bound to find something your parent will love. We’re excited to welcome the public to enjoy the array of local vendors, explore the grounds, and shop for plants for you and your mother’s garden. Best of all, this event is admission-free and open to the public, so that all can celebrate their beloved maternal figures.
