Meltdown Winter Ice Festival

Home of the Ice Giants from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Discover the ice age giants that once roamed Indiana. Drop in and learn about ice science through activity stations and crafts. View gigantic fossil skeletons firsthand.

Admission is free and open to all ages.

Directions: After turning into Earlham’s main entrance from Route 40 W, turn left at the first stop sign. Parking is available in Visitor Lot G behind the museum. If you have any questions, please call the museum at 765-983-1303

Ice Cream Eating Contest at 3:00 pm

Local teams of public employees will battle to the end of the bowl! Drop by the main stage to cheer on your favorite team. Teams have been chosen prior to the festival, but festivalgoers can enjoy special Meltdown flavors at Ullery's all day.

Meltdown Throwdown and Fireworks at 7:30 pm

The battle is ON! Will Team Fire or Team Ice prevail? Watch the ice fly as world class carvers IMAGINE and DELIVER on amazing ice sculptures in a battle where YOU decide who wins!
