LalaCaboosa Concert Series: Juneteenth Celebration Block Party

The Town of Huntersville and Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation Departments invite the community to join in commemorating Juneteenth with a vibrant evening of celebration at the Juneteenth Celebration Block Party, taking place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Veterans Park in Downtown Huntersville. 

This special event marks the kickoff of the 2025 LalaCaboosa Concert Series, and will feature live entertainment by the acclaimed band Envision, along with guest speakers, local food trucks, and family-friendly activities for children. 

Juneteenth, recognized as a day to celebrate African American freedom, heritage, and achievements, will be honored through a community gathering that emphasizes unity, culture, and the spirit of summer. 

Cost: Free and open to the public 

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music, food, and community connection. Please note: No outside alcohol is permitted at the event. 

Parking for the event will be located at the following places: Town Center Parking Garage, S. Main St Parking lot, Arts & Cultural Center Parking lot, Holbrook Park, Downtown Greenway parking lot.
