Jazz Concert Series: Jeremy Pelt Quartet

One of his generation's preeminent trumpeters, the lyrical, swinging Jeremy Pelt continues to blaze new trails. His latest album Woven, a brilliant synthesis of traditional and futuristic sounds, climbed to Number 1 on the jazz chart and spent 15 weeks in the Top 10.

Simultaneously, the versatile Pelt toured with Vincent Herring's hard bop supergroup Something Else. No wonder esteemed Irish jazz blogger Stephen Graham says Jeremy "is in a class of his own."
