Gladbrook Corn Carnival
The Gladbrook Corn Carnival is an annual event celebrated in Gladbrook, Iowa. It is well known for its Friday evening Grand Parade. There is Free entertainment every night. Many families and friends gather during the Corn Carnival celebration, and Gladbrook/G-R High School class reunions are often held concurrently with Corn Carnival festivities.
This celebration, hosted by the Gladbrook Community, organized by the Gladbrook Corn Carnival Corporation, is made possible by the endless cooperative effort of the residents and businesses in and around Gladbrook that make this community their home. The proceeds of the celebration are funneled back into the community by funding projects aimed at improving quality of life for those in and around Gladbrook.

7:30am - 10:00am: Breakfast On Main (sponsored by Hometown Foods and Farm Credit Services)
Tractor Ride - Johnston/Gould Street. Registration at 7am
8am: 5K Walk/Run
Register 7am - Race at 8am - G-R Football Field - NW corner of town (sponsored by Gladbrook Guys and Gals 4-H)
8:30am: Cribbage and Pepper Tournaments - Registration at Spanky's Cribbage and Pepper - $1 each
10:00am: Kids' Activities - City Park Register at 9am (Sponsored by Luethje Auto, Schade Lime and Rock, Nutrient Ag -Conrad)
1-5pm and 6-10pm: J and K Shows Rides and Midway - Ride Wrist Bands $25 each
1:00pm: Firemen Waterball Contests registration - east end of City Park -pre-registration
1:30pm: Movie at Gladbrook Theatre
1:00pm - 7:00pm: Merchant and Business Exhibits, Upstairs City Center
5:30pm: NEW EVENT: Golf Cart Rodeo - East end of Main St, 5pm at registration; Races at 5:30
7:30pm: Gladbrook's Got Talent - Theatre Quilt Raffle, Merchant Drawings during
