Highland Park, IL (August 1, 2025)—The Highland Park wellness community invites the public to “Get Movin’” to celebrate mind, body and soul at a two-day event of movement and mental and physical well-being, September 5+6, 8 am – 5 pm. Participating Highland Park businesses and practitioners include: Jenny Muslin of Dance Sculpt, movement therapist Erica Hornthal of Chicago Dance Therapy, Laura Rategan of SoulShine Healing Sanctuary, Sandy Saldano of Therapeutic Kneads, Dr. Josie Tenore of Trevi Longevity, and more.

Attendees can purchase a $50 ticket (HERE) for a two-day ‘all-access pass’ with the option to purchase additional classes for $10. All-access pass tickets include entree to unlimited speakers, morning meditation walk to beach, mediation and stretch class, closing circle ceremony, promotions, incentives and discounts from Highland Park businesses, first raffle ticket (additional raffle tickets given with each class purchase or donation to Rebecca’s Dream), and curated swag bag!

Get Movin’ Highland Park is the perfect opportunity to try out new mental and physical practices and support the Highland Park wellness community. Additionally, a portion of all ticket sales will go to Rebecca’s Dream, a local organization promoting awareness and compassionate understanding of depression and bipolar disorder.

"Rebecca’s Dream is deeply honored to be the recipient of funds raised during this inspiring two-day mental health event. We are grateful to this incredible community for coming together in the fight to end stigma and support mental wellness. Everyone’s generosity allows us to expand our efforts—bringing hope, education, and resources to those impacted by mental illness,” says Kathleen Illes, Executive Director of Rebecca’s Dream

The community is encouraged to come out and participate in as many opportunities as their schedule allows. With movement, mindfulness and education incorporated into this event, there is something for everyone! “We welcome curiosity and also those already deeply rooted in the wellness space,” says Erica Hornthal, event sponsor, participant and owner/practitioner of Chicago Dance Therapy. “We can all learn and thrive from Get Movin’ Highland Park as the event brings mental and physical health together with community.”
