Gardenfest - Ready, Set, Grow
Explore the latest gardening trends, techniques, and tools during this daylong series of seminars for gardeners of every skill level.
Held annually, Gardenfest is sponsored by McHenry County College and the University of Illinois Extension McHenry County Master Gardeners.
Gardenfest will have two new two-hour hands-on classes: Watercolor Explorations and Container Gardens. Space is limited, and fees for additional materials are applied.
This year, GardenFaire will be open to the public during Gardenfest from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. GardenFaire features garden-themed vendors selling products such as jewelry, pottery, birdhouses, plants, garden art, honey, books, and more. Gardening advisors from the Master Gardeners, MCC’s Center for Agrarian Learning, local garden centers, the Xerxes Society, the Wildflower Preservation and Propagation Committee, and others will also be on-site to answer questions.
