The Dude abides. Take it easy with an entire evening dedicated to the Coen Brothers’ classic, The Big Lebowski. Dress-up and costumes encouraged - come as your favorite character! Prior to the screening, sign up to compete in Big Lebowski themed pub trivia in the Sunset Bar & Lounge (hosted by Chad Avery). 

Field Arts & Events Hall and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 5PM. Pub trivia hosted by Chad Avery will run 5:30 - 6:45PM. Theatre opens for seating at 6:30PM. The Big Lebowski will start in the Donna M. Morris Theater at 7PM. (1998) Rating: R, Runtime 117 min. 

 

 

Jeffrey Lebowski, also known as "The Dude," is mistaken for a wealthy man with the same name, which leads to him being assaulted. Seeking compensation, The Dude sets out to find the real Jeffrey Lebowski, who hires him to act as a courier. The wealthy Lebowski's wife has been kidnapped, and he needs The Dude's help to deliver a ransom. Along the way, The Dude is helped and hindered by his friends, Walter Sobchak, a Vietnam veteran, and Donny. Ultimately, The Dude and his bowling buddies join forces to recover the ransom and solve the kidnapping. 

Pub trivia registration is capped at 75 and first come, first served. Ticket holders; please consult your confirmation email and subsequent Field Hall emails for registration details.
