Falmouth Jazz: Harry Allen Trio

Widely regarded as one of the world’s finest swing saxophonists, Harry Allen has recorded over 70 albums. His playing is smooth, lyrical and sweet — until he erupts into a joyful storm of improvisation. With an elegant tone and swinging style, he has been described as “the Frank Sinatra of the tenor sax.” Harry has performed and recorded with talents ranging from Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Scott Hamilton, Harry ‘Sweets’ Edison, John Pizzarelli and Bucky Pizzarelli, to James Taylor, Sheryl Crow and Jay Geils. Joining Harry in Falmouth will be Marshall Wood on bass and an artist TBA on piano.
