Microscope is pleased to announce that a selection of works by Ina Archer are included in “The Writing’s on the Wall: Language and Silence in the Visual Arts,” an exhibition curated by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, critic, and curator Hilton Als at the Hill Art Foundation in New York.
Bringing together 20th and 21st-century artists from the Hill Collection and beyond, this group exhibition explores the relationship between communication and language. “The Writing’s on the Wall” encompasses a range of mediums, from video installation to printed zine, illustrating the different ways that silence is visualized and made tangible according to a wide array of modern and contemporary artists.
“The Writing’s on the Wall: Language and Silence in the Visual Arts” will be on view through March 29, 2025.
