The historic William Trent House will host “Oh Freedom!,” an exhibit of banners describing how Black New Jerseyans joined the ranks of both Loyalists and Patriots, depending on which side seemed to offer the best chance for freedom.
The banners will be on display from Sunday, July 6, through Saturday, August 23, 2025, during regular museum hours.
