Join the Wistariahurst Museum in celebrating Women’s History Month with the Nature/Nurture Art Exhibit. Female and nonbinary artists will delve into the nature versus nurture debate through their art, exploring the influences of genetics and upbringing. From March 12th to April 16th, immerse yourself in the profound impact of genetics, contemplating how inherited traits and biological tendencies can shape an individual’s journey using various artistic mediums. The exhibition will also feature pieces focusing on the nurturing aspect of this debate, emphasizing the significance of upbringing, life experiences, and environment in shaping one’s identity.

Five featured artists include Anne Bradford Spencer, Deborah Yaffe, Shelsy Rodriguez, Camille Roos, and River Nation. Other submissions will also be exhibited, showcasing diverse mediums like photography and sculptures. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
