Exhibition - Filaments: Fiber Arts in El Dorado County

Arts and Culture El Dorado is very excited to be presenting Filaments: Fiber Arts in El Dorado County at Switchboard Gallery this spring. The show features a diverse collection of work by local weavers, that have been meticulously created by hand, from local farms to the gallery. The show will include a wide range of blankets, sculptural pieces, baskets, and other original hand spun work by some of the most talented artists El Dorado County has to offer. There will also be a history of weaving, as well as a wide range of devices that are paramount to the creation of textiles within this ongoing, living tradition.
