Alan M. Richards presents Let Me Show You Something, a striking exhibition of photomontages and new media artworks. Richards’ work delves into the human condition, utilizing a blend of found imagery and original photography to craft compelling narratives. His pieces oscillate between playfulness, satire, and deeply introspective themes, often exploring scenes reminiscent of past eras. His inspiration draws from the works of Edward Hopper, René Magritte, and David Hockney, creating visually engaging compositions that challenge perceptions of reality and time.

Richards’ artistic approach is organic, evolving as he works on each piece. Through digital painting, drawing, and design elements, he constructs images that reflect his unique perspective on human interactions and society. His passion for art, influenced by his parents-both artists-has flourished in recent years after a long career as an audiologist and professor of hearing science at the City University of New York.
