In honor of Veteran's Day, the Ebenezer Historical Society will be hosting a Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, starting at 11:11am. All are invited to attend and participate! Any mode of transportation is good to be in the parade.
This year's Veteran Grand Marshal will be Rev. Bryce Lockwood-USMC (Only Marine survivor - USS Liberty June 8, 1967) The line-up will be at the intersection of FR 153 and FR 56 at 10:40am. We will then proceed West on FR 56 to the church’s west parking lot then return East on Farm Rd 56. Parking will be available behind the school and at the church. Once again, the EHS will be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies and a Patriot's Pick - so dress up your ride and share your American pride! The Ebenezer Historical Society will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks. Please bring your lawn chairs and coolers. Additionally, for the first 50 entrants, we will also be handing out Veterans Day 2024 Dash Plaques. We will once again start the parade with a cannon salvo!
