Spring has sprung, and there is no better place to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather than at Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Gear up for the Easter Bunny with an afternoon of "hopping" good fun. Bring your own basket and hop on down to the Discovery Center for an Easter egg hunt. There will be over 1,700 eggs to find. Drop off your empty plastic eggs for recycling. If you find one of the "golden" eggs, bring it to the park ranger to receive a special prize. Enjoy hands-on crafts, hay wagon rides, and a whole lot more.
