In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra’s Latin Jazz Ensemble brings the heat with an exciting series of concerts filled with Brazilian grooves and Central American rhythms. The series features several of the region’s best Latin jazz artists while highlighting the vocal talents of Marion Powers. You’ll want to join in for this high-energy music and cultural celebration; it will be an unforgettable experience of rhythm and soul!

Performances are Sunday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Muse Performance Space, 200 E. South Boulder Rd., Lafayette. Tickets are $27 (including fees). On Sunday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m. the Latin Jazz Ensemble launches the CJRO’s new “Sunday Night Sessions” at Dazzle, 1080 14th St., Denver. The series will be held on the fourth Sunday of the month, and each will feature a new theme. Tickets are $18 - $30 (including fees). The ensemble performs at The Schoolhouse Theater, 19650 E Mainstreet, Parker on Friday, October 10 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $27 - $32 (including fees). The Latin jazz series will finish at Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Pkwy., Lakewood on Sunday, October 12 at 3:00pm. Tickets are $36-$38 (including fees). Now in its fourth year the 2025 Latin Jazz Ensemble is Drew Zaremba (Saxophone); Victor Mestas (Keyboard); Gabriel Santiago* (Guitar); Bijoux Barbosa (Bass); Alejandro Castaño (Drums); Leo Corona (Percussion), and Marion Powers (Vocals). *Gabriel is not performing at the Muse on September 21.
