Celebration of Spring Pottery Tour

The 16th Annual Celebration of Spring Pottery Tour takes place on the weekend of April 19, 20 and 21, 2024, from 10am to 5pm, and is a self-guided tour of individual pottery galleries, studios and workshops. Visit individual shops, and galleries located within a 20 mile radius of the town’s center. Spring has always been a time for renewal and awakening in Seagrove, and this year an unprecedented number of shops are opening their doors at the same time to celebrate spring. Over 40 local potters participate in this special event weekend. Throughout this creative community you can see demonstrations, tour workshops, kiln openings, listen to music and purchase freshly made pieces for springtime! 

Nestled in the countryside you will find the largest concentration of working potters in the United States. Visitors have the unique opportunity to meet the artists before buying pottery to take home and enjoy. Those attending will have the opportunity to win a gift certificate for $150 that can be used at one of the participating Celebration of Spring shops. Pick up a card at one of the shops, fill out your information and turn it in to any one of the Pottery Shops for the chance to be drawn and win. Qualifying cards will be entered in a drawing, which will take place in May.
