Six of Austin’s favorite jazz musicians will come together to form TRIBUTE, a band presenting the compositions of Carla Bley, Dave Holland, Charles Mingus, and Henry Threadgill.
The group is led by guitarist/ arranger Carl Michel and includes local favorite tenor sax player Alex Coke, world renowned trombonist Andre Hayward, Austin Music Award winning drummer Masumi Jones, vibraphonist extraordinaire Carolyn Trowbridge, and first call acoustic bassist James Suter.
