Cannon Beach Music Festival: Festival Finale

Join the full roster of CBMF musicians for a lively celebration of folk-inspired music. The program will feature Bela Bartok's Romanian Folk Dances, based on traditional melodies from Transylvania; Paul Wiancko's American Haiku, an exploration of Appalachian fiddle, Japanese folk song, and creative percussion techniques; and string quartet arrangements of both traditional and newly composed fiddle tunes from Sweden and Denmark. The festival will come to a close with a performance of Robert Schumann's joyful masterpiece, the Piano Quintet in E-flat.
