Art Gallery Opening Reception Kathy Poehler: Ebb and Flow

Did you know that seaweed is seasonal? You can learn this and more at our April art gallery opening reception with artist Kathy Poehler, who will be showcasing her unique seaweed collage artwork.

Kathy will be displaying tiles of different seaweed she uses and explain their seasonal nature. She’ll also bring fresh seaweed samples and patrons will be able to interact with the medium. Kathy will be on hand to answer questions and discuss how growing up on island and with a father who was a science teacher informs her work.

We'll have a cheese board, light refreshments.
