"This class is ideal for beginners or immediate painters. Journey through a reference landscape photo of your choice (I also have photos available to select from). Working with either oil or acrylic, we will start with basic principles of painting, gain an understanding of materials, supplies and tools. Demonstrations will be given and individual attention to apply techniques to render your very own beautiful landscape masterpiece."

SUPPLY LIST:

- Paint Colors: Ultramarine blue, Thalo blue (Prussian blue), Titanium White (buy the larger tube of this only), Viridian green, Cadmium red light, Alizarin Crimson or Permanent Madder deep, Burnt umber, Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow

- Brushes: #8 “flat” hog hair bristle, #4 Rounds hog hair bristle, #10 Rounds hog hair bristle, #4 “bright” (1/2” wide), #4 synthetic filbert

- Canvas: Pre-stretched + primed Canvas 9”x12”- 20”x24” in size

- Misc Supplies: Roll of paper towels, Palette knife, 12x16 Paint storage container, Deposable Paper Palette Pad size of 12”x16”

- *Additional Supplies for oil paintersGamblin Gamsol Paint thinner odorless mineral spirits, Gamblin Refined Linseed oil, 2 medium sized tin turp cups, 1 glass jar w/lid

- *Additional Supplies for Acrylic Painters* A container (i.e mason jar) for water

- All: Please bring a landscape photo reference of your choice.
