Adult Acting: Scene Study

This is an active scene study course that will help actors find the truth in their acting, learn how to trust their gut, and make informed and motivated choices. We’ll explore the significance of blocking and emotional intention, showing you how physical movements and positioning can enhance subtext and character relationships. Students will engage in practical exercises, scene analysis, and group discussions to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Our experienced instructor provides personal feedback and mentorship, helping you grow as a performer. The session will culminate in an informal showcase where friends and family will be invited to experience the growth of the work done in class. Great when paired with the Improv for Actors: The Art of Letting Go and Taking Risks class.
