Experience the New 1906:
We’re thrilled to announce the grand reopening of 1906, now nestled below Longwood Gardens' breathtaking Main Conservatory. With its stunning views of the iconic Main Fountain Garden, 1906 is not just a dining destination, but an unforgettable experience all its own. This new space features a full-service bar, lounge, and private dining room, all designed by the award-winning architectural firm WEISS/MANFREDI.
Executive Chef George Murkowicz leads a culinary team focused on seasonality and sustainability. The restaurant’s upscale American menu highlights produce grown in Longwood’s on-site Ornamental Kitchen Garden, where over 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs are cultivated. Guests can indulge in flavorful dishes that celebrate the local landscape, such as the Sunflower Seed “Risotto” and the Roasted Green Circle Chicken.
With a commitment to community, unused produce is donated to a local food bank. Guests will also enjoy a rotating selection of seasonal cocktails, fine wines, and house-made tonics, each carefully curated to complement the garden's natural bounty. Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner, or drinks in the lounge, 1906 presents culinary artistry comparable to the world-renowned horticultural artistry of Longwood Gardens.
