Since Ponce de Leon arrived on the shores of Florida in April 1513, stories of this region have never been the same. Flowing seamlessly between Spanish and English, storyteller and teaching artist Carrie Sue Ayvar weaves together personal, historical, and traditional Florida tales, con un poco sabor Latino- with a bit of Latino flavor! Join us on the evening of April 19th to be swept away by grand tales of the cultures and people who have come together to define Florida’s history!

Please note that, while this presentation will be in both Spanish and English, knowledge of both languages is not required for attendance.

Attendance is free for members and a suggested donation of $5 for nonmembers. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
