Join Instructors Dixon Fish and Ginna Brooks for a deep dive into the art of Printmaking! Over three days, you’ll learn three Printmaking techniques as you explore this ancient medium.  Ginna will begin by guiding you through the fascinating process of using versatile Gelli Plates and special acrylic paints to achieve vibrant prints.  The possibilities are endless!  Then, on Thursday, join Dixon for this fast, spontaneous, and full of color journey into Monotype Printmaking. With water-based ink, acrylic plates, and state of the art printmaking presses, you can achieve success with your first try!  On the third day, Dixon will teach you how to create a Collograph print using cardboard to create a plate.  You’ll learn how to carve designs, ink and collage your art using everyday materials.  Bring your photos, sketches, art papers and collage elements to customize your original art!

All tools and materials are included to create up to two prints (approximately 5”x7”) each day to enjoy for a lifetime!  No experience is necessary, and beginners are welcome.

Please Note:  If you wish to make more prints, additional paper and materials will be available for purchase during class.

Supplies Students Bring: Apron and (optional) photos, sketches, collage elements and water bottle
