Forestville Memorial Day Parade

American Legion Post 209 is proud to announce this year’s Memorial Day Parade with a rain date of Monday May 27th at 2:00 p.m. Follow us on Facebook for this and other American Legion events! American Legion Post 209 is looking for family members who have lost a loved one during a war to be involved in this parade please bring a picture of your loved one and we’ll gladly have you in the parade honoring your family member. If you want to walk the parade route you can if you do not we’ll get you a ride. Honoring those that gave the ultimate sacrifice is what this Memorial is about. To teach the Next Generation about the sacrifice of the generations before let us never forget. Any youth organizations wishing to be a part of this Memorial Day Parade to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice please fill out the application and mail it to the American Legion Post 209 Forestville Connecticut PO Box 9408-06011
